Grateful for the warm welcome by our Indonesia-based partners and friends. A delegation of the Nieuwe Instituut, including our General and Artistic Director Aric Chen, visited Jakarta, Yogjakarta, and Bandung, to warm up for our joint programme Arus Balik – Shifting Currents, which kicks off on the 24th of September 2024 and runs until 2nd of February 2025, and longer-term collaborations in architecture, design, and digital cultures.
